Thank you for visiting the Clay County Center for Women's Ministries (CWM) website. We are a non-profit, non-denominational ministry for women promoting emotional and spiritual healing. Our primary purpose is crises intervention with a spiritual emphasis.
Our intention is to invest in the emotional and spiritual health of women through one-on-one peer counseling, prayer support, Bible studies, support groups, educational opportunities, and more!
Our counseling services are
free of charge and offered
to women ages 13+
As a Christ-centered ministry, we believe Jesus Christ to be the ultimate healer of body, mind and spirit. In the book of Genesis, Scripture tells us God is the great Creator of everything that exists, and we are his handiwork. As the product of His creation, we can be sure He knows everything about us. When we are broken, He knows best how to restore us. Psalm 147:3 assures us it is God who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.
“What I love about the Center for Women’s Ministries is that we are simply a group of women with a heart for helping women in our communities. Our slogan is, “We’ve been where you are” and that is so fitting for our ministry. Collectively our volunteers have been through, and found victory in, all different types of circumstances in their lives; and chances are, at least one of them can relate to every woman that walks through our door. As women, we have a need to be heard and understood. There’s value in talking to someone that will listen, without judgment, to what we have to say and truly try to understand why we’re feeling the way we feel. Even emotions that may have been festering for years can be tempered by simply talking about it and taking it to God in prayer. We offer a safe, non-judgmental, confidential place for women to share what is on their heart and walk alongside them as they begin the path of healing.
We look forward to meeting you soon!”
